I hate black heads, my acne is clearing up, but no matter what I do, the black heads keep coming back. its annoying.


I cant use over the counter products bc they make my face break out, ( i tried everything, scrub, exfoliation, face masks, strips, the ones with the beads, )

Exfoliate totally TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!Dry coffee (ground) on moist skin, rub in gentle circles 30 seconds and rinse! Beware of messiness lol.





Also try witch hazel as a toner/ facial astringent, cost around 2$ at the pharmacy, apply liberally to your face after washing and allow it to air dry. Witch hazel will normalize your skin and help it self-regulate.

Black heads are basically a hardened oil mixture that was secreted from your pores and oxidized (which makes the outside part black) and since water and oil don't mix, no water based product can ';clean'; your blackheads away, just try say putting certain foundations or makeups on the mirror and if you wipe it with water it smudges all over but put a little baby oil and wipe and tada! it comes off super clean AND dissolves it. So this is basically how this oil works. It's composition is such that the skin accepts it as a healing oil and it does not clog your skin but rather protects it while the plant extracts inside go down into the pores (this absorption is made possible by applying the toner to the skin before applying the oil and then applying the dabs of oil over your moistened face), it then penetrates into the pores.

blackheads are oil and dirt trapped in the pore, you know already, the more you cleanse and wash away the oils in your skin the more your skin produces.


invest in an astrigent... a face mask with clay and zinc as this tightens the pores, splash your face with iced water to close the pores... stops any oils or bacteria entering...


as you get older you notice your skin is less oily and blackheads are usually fewer.


I swear by baby wipes , i use the cheapest ones 拢1 for 80.. i cleanse my face two or three times a day and reapply make up.


another tip, make sure your brushes for applying makeup are spotless......
Have you tried Proactive?


It really worked for me.


I recently bought the face mask, that you put on overnight, and the next morning when I wake up, I am acne free!


and blackheads dont come back!!


If youve tried proactive, and it wont work for you, I suggest you see a skin doctor about it.

I had the same problem, go to your doctor. There's a pill you can take for it and a gel you can use. No, it does not have any benzoyl peroxide in it which, if you use enough, can dry out your skin and create more oil causing more blackheads.
