What is the best way to get rid of black heads and such things that grow on your face without harming ur face?

I've tried pore strips and things, but not facial washes yet.... i was just wondering what the best way would be without harming your face..What is the best way to get rid of black heads and such things that grow on your face without harming ur face?
It is really risky trying facial products. best to consult a dermatologist for that. What is the best way to get rid of black heads and such things that grow on your face without harming ur face?
i tried everything and now for the past 2 years i've been using dermalogica medicated clearing gel...it's the best!!
I've been using this thing recommended by Paula Begoun. Take some baking soda (yes, the kinda that you use for cooking/baking) and mix it into your usual cleanser.

Just rub the mixture into your skin %26amp; wash as per normal. The baking soda will basically act as an exfoliator/scrub and remove the dead skin cells on the topmost layer of your skin.

I don't like to use pore strips etc, I used to use them and loved the 'feel' that I was getting rid of dirt (when you peel them off and u can see all the little 'roots' of dirt that was originally on your face). But then I read Paula's book and realised that it wasn't good for your skin, so I stopped.

It's true that for some 'tougher' blackheads etc, you will probably still need to do some physical squeezing to get them out. However, I recommend that you go to a experienced facialist for such extraction - some ppl tend to underestimate their strength and you can be left with horrible scars if you do it at home. If you become more familiar over time, then by all means, do it at home.
My kids all used sugar scrubs made from natural ingredients. No blackhead problems at my house.

I've gone through it with 5 teenagers, boys %26amp; girls.
Drink dandelion tea. It's bitter, but it works. I drank it for a week, but was able to eat peanut butter without having my pimples coming back. Simply snap off the leaves off the weed from which you know they haven't been sprayed with pesticide, and boil them in a small pot, the darker the better. If you don't want to drink it, wash your face with it, cold of course. I've tried it, and it works. And it's free!!
Given below are a few tips to remove blackheads:

· Do not use harsh soaps or lotions, which could the face oily. Use cleansers and try to keep the skin less oily.

· Try to keep the dead cells away from the skin, by cleaning your face.

· Do not squeeze the blackheads. Too much squeezing could damage the skin and make the pores large.

· Applying warm water on the face and gently putting pressure with a little cotton could clear the clogs.

· You can use “blackhead strips” which are available in the markets. These strips only remove the upper portion on the blackheads and not its root.

I'm a dood. I have a super clear face, excluding the acne. I have none of those dents and crap on my nose and the skin is smooth with no bumps.

THE SECRET:

Whenever you see something that looks like its jammed in the skin, you have to take your two index fingers and apply pressure from both sides. You have to SQUEEZE the little hard thing out. Then all that will be left on your nose is a small hole, but it will heal up smoothly and nicely. I do that on many parts of my face and keeps it smooth. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY. Face cleansers and crap only help, but only to a limited extent.

Analogy:

Say you eat a BBQ rib. There's meat stuck between your teeth. No matter how much mouthwash you use, FOOD WILL STILL BE STUCK BETWEEN YOUR TEETH. That's why you actually have to physically take out the meat with dental floss. Pushing from both sides of the pore is like dental floss. You can also use this technique on pimples to pop them.

Have a nice day =)
Propa PH...Stridex Pads....Cider Vinegar
Well I recommend you use a facial wash. The two most widely available OTC drugs are salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. In my case, both worked for me, but everyone is different. I will recommend either Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Wash, AcneFree, St Ive's Medicated Apricot Scrub, or Clean and Clear's Persa-Gel. Do NOT use all these together. Just try on at a time til you find something that works.

I have not found that the pore strips worked for me. Also, avoid squeezing the pimples and blackheads as well.
Heat your face with a really warm warm rag and then use a blackhead minimizing scrub...then splash with cool water. Works like a charm. =]
Steam facial machines, Witch Hazel and L'Oreal moisturizing face cream. First you steam clean your face to get the dirt out of your pores, then clean with an astringent like Witch Hazel, then end with a facial moisturizer so you don't dry out your skin too much.

If you can afford it, Clinique, available in dept stores, has a great three step product line; the soap first, then the astringent then the moisturizer. It is fantastic.
They don't grow on your face, blackheads are just clogged skin grease supply pores that the grease (protects your skin) is blocked in, you could try and gently massage them out.

On the tape subject, I like scotch magic tape, always gets a lot of debris of my facial skin.
are you serious!!??BUY THIS FACE WASH- ''CLEAN AND CLEAR MORNING BRUST'' OMG IT WORKS KEEPS YOUR FACE FRESH IN THE MORNING
Exfoliate often using a product that contains beta hydroxy acids or alpha hydroxy acids, which can penetrate the skin and clear pores thoroughly. If you have oily skin, use a face mask at least once weekly to help you absorb excess oil. Don't use soap or other harsh cleansers on your face. Opt for cleaners that are pH balanced, and always choose something that does not contain oils. Avoid greased products, including oil-based makeup and overly thick creams.
Try Biore Pore strips they are fantastic without the damage, I highly recommend them my dear and they are alot better than washes. I would also recommend micro dermabrasion which is a type of beauty routine you do using great refining products such as mark kay!! good luck remember, cleanse , tone, and moisturize every day!
Biore facial strips! At places like Target...
All I can tell U is just use some good-old fashioned soap and hot water and maybe try also to eat right as well.If U R a teenager,U just might have to learn to live with it until U turn 21. I had the same problem til' I was 20. Good Luck!
