How do you get rid of stubborn black heads and clogged pores that just wont go away?

I have bad clogged pores on my nose and chin. I have tryed almost everything. Acne treatments, facial scrubbs, astrengents, special masks and facial clensers. Nothiing can make them go away. I even tryed a wash that a friend of mine swore took away his black heads in less than a month. Didnt work on me after two months. The treatment I am using right now is making them lighter, but not taking them away. Please help me! It is embarassing and gross. How do you get rid of stubborn black heads and clogged pores that just wont go away?
Use those black head strips... they work very well and it doesn't matter what brand you get...How do you get rid of stubborn black heads and clogged pores that just wont go away?
I go and get facial once a month, to remove all of my blackheads, and it helps clean my clogged pores. Then I use cleaners to help and to prevent them from coming back.
I am 56. I have had this since I was a teenager. Nothing works.
Soaps with lotions clog your skin. You need dry, clean skin. Wash your face with Aqua Zest twice a day. Steam on your face and sweating will help clean pores. Use acne cream only on the spots.
get some regular white school glue an rub some on ur nose and chin. then when it dries just pull it off slowly. or use some ';biore' strips'; after most of the blackheads get pulled out, u can sqeeze the few that are left and the black stuff should just come right out.
You need to go your local spa/salon if they give facials there. Call around first and ask if they have facials. A licensed tech and steam it so that the pores open up. They will then exract the black heads and clogged pores. Mine showed me how to do it myself with a tissue. Don't try to do it yourself first unless you are shown- you could cause scarring. You should use a tissue between your fingers and your skin- so the skin does not break and scar, before you squeeze each one individually. It is somewhat gross but the only true way to get rid of black heads. It might look red and irritated for a day but it will be so smooth afterward until you need another one. Most drug stores also sell small stainless tools that put even pressure on the outside of a blackhead so that as you push the oil pops out. Good luck
Try Biore' strips, or clean and clear astringent for blackheads, it works great and it smells good.
The Biore facial strips will help you, but the blackheads will come back. You should see a Dermatologist. He can prescribe something that you can apply to your skin every day to prevent blackheads and clogged pores.
If you've tried all those products and they are not working, talk to a dermatologist.

What products exactly have you tried though? I've had luck with some Ponds products, they have a whole line designed to fight blackheads.

Also, don't scrub too hard to too often, it only makes the problem worse.
go see a dermatoligist,, they will help you

good luck
You make a big pot of strong chamomile tea ( 2 liters at least). Prepare some towels, a blanket, two chars ( simple not upholstered ), salt. You put the pot on one of the chairs ( be sure that it`s stable ), put 2 or 3 spoons of salt in the tea, stir it, stay on the other chair, cover your head with the towels and the blanket, keep your head above the pot so much and so long you can. Then you can use the pore strips. Leave them enough.

Don`t wash your face only with cold or lukewarm water. If you need soap use shaving cream. Don`t touch your face only if you washed your hands before.
use a keratolytic... apply tretinoin on affected areas every other night after washing your face. You will notice peeling and drying (because it's trying to unclog sebaceous glands that secrete oil). So on nights that you're not using it, apply moisturizer.

tretinoin is contraindicated in people who are trying to be pregnant. stop it when three months before you want to have a baby
Use Biore Pore Cleanser. It works.
two words honey biore and clearisil if that don't work then one word proactiv good luck
boil some hot water, place in a bowl, add some essential oils, put your head over the bowl, with a towel over your head, gently squeeze out the blackheads
use a black head, pore strip
use a cold towel every morning to wash your face and clean your face at night with seabreeze
wash every morning and night. use only facial wash for your skin type, and follow with an astringent. you should wash with warm water to open pores and rinse with cold to close them. exfoliate atleast once a week. you might even consider seeing a dermatologist. sorry, there are no miracle drugs or easy answers!!! oh yeah! pro-active really works, but can be costly!!! good-luck
ok you have problet used alot of stuff that makes your skin dryer now people think if they make there skin dryer buy useing all of these drying agents they will get rid of ther black heads no that is not the anwser to your problems.

I went a top rated school in Manhatten and I suggest that you steam your face every other day bowl, steaming hot water, chamomile tea bags toweloveryour head 15 minutes.

Now you must extract as many as you can and wash away acsess oil with witch hazel.

You need to use the product dr.haushka you can find it on the web-this is a german product that is all natural.

The trick with this product is putting the natural oils back in your skin and stop drying out your skin because whene you dry out your skin your skin doubles the amount of oils it produces and that means more black heads.

You have nothing to loose believe im the best at skin and this anwser is a million dollar anwser on me! Enjoy and please rate my question ok good luck

I used to have ance and now ITS GONE!
My teenage daughter and I suffered from this problem and like yourself we tried everything, then I discovered Philosophy (www.philosphy.com or QVC) I would highly recommend their products even if you start with the cleansing wash the vitamin c powder and the hope in a jar moisturiser, on QVC they sell a Jump starters kit which contains all these items for one great price. Good Luck
