  • How can my wife get rid of these black heads on her chest?

My wife has had a few black head pimples appear on her chest and stomach. Usually when we try to pop them, it seems like they go deeper inside, swell and get larger from 1mm to 5mm in size. I was able to pop one out today. But a few others wouldn't come out.

Thanks for the advice!!How can my wife get rid of these black heads on her chest?
OMG! I am going through the same thing right now! It seems every year around this time, my chest breaks out! What I do is keep them clean with salicylicacid ttoner and benzyol cleaner. If I see they have a ';head,'; I take a bobby pin and carefully extract it and clean it so it doesn't leave a mark.

My breakout normally goes away within a month or so and the scars disappear by spring. Just keep the area clean and dry and she should be OK!How can my wife get rid of these black heads on her chest?
Buy a zit sucker. But mostly anything with salicylic acid. Noxema has this one in a tub, blue, with orange lid that has the highest concentration that I have found. It is 5% while others are only 2%. They are pads you cleanse with. Usually found by the stridex at walmart.
Hey don't do what you are doing. I empathise but trust me pimples when roughed up on chest and shoulder and stomach behave worst.

Is she on contraceptive pills though? Try to modify your diet, no meat and no alcohol and no sugar. Hope this helps.

What is the best skin product to reduce black heads? ?

I have maybe a few zits every once in awhile, but I have a big problem with black heads. What is the best product that can help me?

What is the best skin product to reduce black heads? ?
The following conditions usually lead to blackheads:

    * Excess of oil on the pores - Stress, diet and hormone activitiy changes are major factors that can cause increase in the oil gland secretions.

    * Excess of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin, which blocks the pore openings.

    * Use of skin care and beauty care products on the face that contain too much oil.

As you can see from the above, the main causes of blackheads are oily skin and blocked pores. To prevent and get rid of blackheads, keep the skin as clean and oi-free as possible. Here are some guidelines on how to get prevent blackheads:

    * If you want to prevent blackheads, stop using oil-based skin care products and make-up. These oil-based products will clog your pores, increasing the chance of developing blackheads. You should opt for gentle, natural and organic based, oil-free and non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores) skin care products and mineral make up products instead. The mineral make up use mineral powders and other natural ingredients which are good for your skin and doesn't contain oil, preservatives that can clog the pores.

    * Clean your face in the morning and evening with a gentle, oil-free cleanser to remove excess oil from the face. Blackheads are not caused by dirt, so do not use hard, abrasive cleanser and do not scrape and scrub the skin harshly as it may cause damage to the sensitive skin and the pores.

    * Perform body cleanse detox and take daily actions to remove toxins from the body - Toxins overload in the body may lead to imbalance of the hormone, which result in the oil gland producing excess oil. Take steps to remove toxins from the body by doing a colon cleanse, drinking adequate water, and eating food that is rich in fibers. Click here to find out more about body clease detox.

    * Apply a mask 2 times a week to absorb the excess oil and to tighten the pores - You can use homemade mask made of honey and oatmeal.

    * Steaming - Steaming is a effective way to deep clean the pores. The steam helps to open up the pores and allow you to remove dead skin cells, oils, blackheads. You can do this 2 times a week.

*Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells - Presence of dead skin cells can clog the pores, leading to blackheads and acne problems. Exfoliation helps to clear away the dead skin cells and excess oil. It can be done my mechanical (using liquid scrubs or cloths) or chemical means (using salicylic or glyolic acid). Salicylic Acid is actually the most recommended exfoliation agent, since it also helps to unclog pores whose openings have already been obstructed by sebum and dead cells. In this manner, your skin will be pimple-free for a longer period of time.

*Get enough sleep and rest - Stress can trigger excess oil production. Getting enough sleep and rest is the best way to control stress. Furthermore, sleep helps to rejuvenate the body and nourish the skin cells, giving you healthier and more glowing skin.

*Additionally, you should exercise and consume a healthy, balanced diet, and drink plenty fluid, all of which improves blood circulation, fights inflammation, and nourishes the skin for a healthy, radiant skin.

*You can also try use oil blotting papers. These are really good at absorping the oils and keeping your skin oil free, which is very important to prevent blackheads. Below are some of the oil blotting products that have good user reviews.

Are there any ways to get rid of black heads on your forehead?

yes, you can do a facial scrub. Use a mixture of Honey and Salt (two table spoons of each in a small bowl) and then apply to your forehead, leave it on for 5min and then scrub it for about 1min or so. The result will be a blackhead free and smooth forehead. Try it! I do this every other day and it has kept my face clean and smooth. Are there any ways to get rid of black heads on your forehead?

How do i get rid of pimples and black heads fast?

I have three huge ones, ones already popped, and the others are just red, and the black heads hurt bad and i have like 4!.

Do i get like steaming water and open my pores then clean them out or what can i doooo!!!???How do i get rid of pimples and black heads fast?
NEVER POP PIMPLES!! It spreads bacteria around your face and will create even more pimples. I find the best way to stop an appearance of a BIG pimple is to dab toothpaste on it before you go to bed. This will shrink in size. If you have a small pimple, do the same thing, it should go away. If doesn't work, try do the same thing with a lemon! How do i get rid of pimples and black heads fast?
The best way for me was to pop the pimples and make sure that you get the blood out of the pimple to or it wont work very good.

What kind of goat milk do I use to get rid of black heads?

Okay, I've heard that if you put goat milk on your face it makes the blackheads go away. Well I don't know what kind of goat milk and also where to get it. Please help! What kind of goat milk do I use to get rid of black heads?
Male Pygmy goat milk is the best I've seen for blackheads, and the ramdom zit.

It's very hard to get the goat to let you milk him, but this is the best way because it's only availiable in few stores.

The milk is very thick, smooth, and creamy. It needs to be applied at least twice daily.

    Good luck with facial problems

What can a 13 year old girl do to avoid pimples and black heads?

My little cousin is starting to get pimples. When one goes away, another one comes. Thye usualy appear on her nose or on her chin, where she has black heads (how can she get rid of those, too?). She doesn't touch her face too much, washes her face everyday, and drinks water. Anything else she can do?What can a 13 year old girl do to avoid pimples and black heads?
first of all, make sure that she cleanses, exfoliates, and moisturizes day and night. a toner might help too. if she wears makeup, make sure it's oil-free, and doesn't cause pimples (its noncome- something, i forgot). also, when she's cleansing, make sure she doesn't make her face squeaky clean, that means she's stripping her face of natural oils, and that will in turn cause more oil production, which equals more zits. also, don't over-exfoliate. If it hurts to exfoliate, she's hurting her skin. also, don't pop pimples and don't use exfoliants if she has a whitehead-the heads will break off and she will end up spreading bacteria all over her skin.

good luck! What can a 13 year old girl do to avoid pimples and black heads?
You can visit my website http://www.naturalbeautycareguide.com/sk鈥?/a> We have provided alot of info about the pimples, black heads etc.
She can always try ordering Proactiv Solution. It makes all your pimples go away as soon as possible. They also have a 60 day trial thing, so that if Proactiv doesn't work in 60 days, you can return the product. It also comes with this special booklet about making all you pimples go away. You should try it!
they are just part of the teenage hormones and process. don't buy any products, they just mess up your face more. she should put on nivea cream. but no matter what they will always come whne you're a teen. and stress is a factor too. if she's stressed, more will come on her face. tell her to relax.
try to find her a boyfriend. shes just too hyper.
just part of teenage hormones. She might want to try proactive though.
Arbonne International has a line that is perfect for her. They have a line that is formulated especially for young skin which will address these issues. I would love to send you a free sample so that she may try this at see if it works for her. also included in the 4 day sample is the masque which will not only take care of her black head problem but also make her smile about her complexion. You can go to my website at www.thewayback.myarbonne.com and request a sample with no obligation.
Sounds to me like she's doing just about everything she should be doing. Changes in your body at this age is normal including some acne. What ever she does, tell her not to ';pick'; her pimples cause that leads to scarring. Maybe suggest she ask her pediatrician what can help. My daughter took an antibiotic to help her acne. A gentle anti-stringent might help. Good luck!
    Get a good spot treatment.
..you know its almost impossible to avoid them.. its part of growing up and teenaging... try to stay away from too many chemicals they may hurt her skin on the long run
proact. it's not only for acne but also for pimples. it really works and change my life!
Yes, she can also get a face cleanser, and exfoliant. she can also get a zit medicine, that she can use on either pimples or black heads (or both!)
    Proactiv
My best advice is for your cousin to use self-adjusting products that are niether too harsh nor too light.

She should wash her face twice a day and use a toner, to help remove whatever her face wash is unable, each time she washes, and a moisturizer.

She can try the Intelligence...Not-so-Basic line at:

    http://www.HMaggio-Pure-Skin-Care.com

The products are self-adjusting and the company offers a full 45-day, money-back guarantee.

In addition to using self-adjusting products, proper diet, exercise and a proper amount of sleep can also help.
    DUHH!! PROACTIVE SOLUTION!!!!!!!
tell your cusing to put crim in the face becase those pimples are scary
keep you hands away from your face, wash regularly
well all teens pretty much gets pimples, no matter what you do. shes doing the right thing. i dont know if this is what youre supposed to do, but when i got a blackhead, i just picked it out with my finger. it was soooooo gross and it kinda hurt. she should probably talk to the doctor and maybe she can perscribe a medicine thing to get rid of them
As well as drinking water and washing her face with a gentle cleansing wash, it pays to avoid fatty, oily foods like chips, chocolate, cream etc and eat lots of vegetables and fruit.

Exercise can also help as when you sweat, it can help unblock your pores.

Have a hot steamy shower each day which widens the pores and helps clear them.

Keeping her hair away from her face and washing it regularly and not touching her face also helps prevents them from becoming infected.
go to a dermetologist. They can perscribe medicine to treat the acne.
spot treatment, clean and clear, witch and any 3 in 1 treatment!
PROACTIVE IS NOT FOR SPOT TREATMENT! its for people who have severe acne.
The best thing you can do is cleanse your face. I would recommend the Mary Kay VELOCITY Cleanser which does three things to help with blemishes. It cleanses the surface dirt, exfoliates the dry, dead skin, and tones to help your skin look fresher and cleaner. In addition, Mary Kay has a fabulous Acne Treatment Gel. Have your mom or your cousins mom contact a local Mary Kay consultant or go to www.MaryKay.com/tbond61 for more information.

If she's 13, it's only the beginning of a long battle. That's when my daughter started getting acne. By age 15, I was taking her to a dermatologist to extract those stubborn blackheads. She had them on top of her nose, under her nose and even in her ear. Gosh, it was worth every penny I paid to get rid of those things. To my knowledge, there's not a product out there that will remove blackheads, especially if they are deep. They have to be extracted somehow. Once there gone though, it is important to keep up a consistent regimen using mild, but effective products on the face. That might possibly prevent them, plus don't wear liquid make-up that will clog pores.
There's nothing to do except let them run their course. It's called puberty. I had a rough time with pimples around that age, but they cleared up after a little while. It's just puberty. Just one of those things.

  • How do i remove black heads on oil from my noise?

im a 16 year old boy, and i dont have very much acne around my face, just a few little pimples on my forhead but my noise has alot of black heads %26amp; is realy oily! what do i do? any home remodies please. How do i remove black heads on oil from my noise?
    I used Clean %26amp; Clear.

What I also did(Which SUPRISINGLY helped - didn't expect it to at all..) was splash my face with HOT water, and then wrapped a paper-towel around a single ice-cube. After, I just kept rubbing it against my nose. It took out a few blackheads, and it works. Sooo, Good luck(:

    Anywhoo,

Remember, EVERYONE has different skin, so, whatever medication you use(Proactive, clean %26amp; clear, oxy clean, etc) will work depending on you're skin. So don't blame the products. You'll have to see a doctor, who will then recommend you to a specialist.

Does any one know a face wash that gets rid of black heads really well?

I am using proactive and it isnt working. please help!Does any one know a face wash that gets rid of black heads really well?
You have blackheads in your pores because they have oil or build-up in them. Every drug store sells something called a ';blackhead remover'; near their nail clippers and tweezers in the cosmetics aisle. What you do with it is take it and drag it along your nose, and the stuff in your pores comes out. After you clean them out by doing this, apply an astringent. After that you can keep your pores clean by using amn oil-free face wash. Honestly, nothing else works.Does any one know a face wash that gets rid of black heads really well?
i have very tough blackheads, and what i do is put clean and clear blackhead remover on my nose, and get a nail scrubber, and scrub my nose for about 5 minuets. it hurts a tinsy tiney bit at first, but nothing near unbearable

just careful not to scrub too hard ; )
clean and clear there is a special one for black heads
toothpaste [[[ rub it leave 15 min then wash it ]]]

    and this from Neutrogena

i used toothpaste(im serious) and it made them hard so they could get busted easier but proactive is the best way, it just takes a while like 3 months

How can i get rid of stubborn black heads?

I wash my face every morning and night however i still have blackheads usually on my chin and the sides of my nose/inner cheeks, this is because my pores are bigger there. Im not going to even try and push them out as i know it can make them worse and damage the skin.

Any lotions or treatmens i could do to get rid of them?

i have already tried blackhead strips etc.How can i get rid of stubborn black heads?
pick em...and if that doesn't work steam them with boiling water and the insidess should slide right outHow can i get rid of stubborn black heads?
    clearasil, 3 in 1

    worked for me

    :] x
You can buy pore strips from BOOTS and sometimes other shops have them as well i don,t know if you have heard of home bargains they also have them and they a lot cheaper there than boots and they are really good.If you don,t see them then just ask someone that you want something for blackheads and i,m sure they will be happy to help.
clearasil black head clearing scrub with salycilic acid is GREAT. =D, also there is this tool you can get at walmart that you gently push on top of the black head right after putting a hot rag on your face to loosen it up, its about 3 dollars, and it doesnt damage the skin, its just metal, not electric at all, i have like 3
Blackheads are VERY hard to get rid of. I know cause i have some (well loads) of blackheads on my nose and they are very difficult to get rid of. I suggest to go in a shower/bath, use a face scrub and/or a pore strip...then wash yourself etc. And Once you leave the shower splash cold water or for better results get an ice cube and rub it were the blackheads are to close the pores so you won't get oil in it to cause more blackheads
The only think you can do is wash your face with cleanser every night before bed and preferably in the morning aswell, and use a toner and a pore minimising moisturiser aswell.

Also, buy an ex foliating facial scrub and use it once a week :) x

Black heads, what is the best product to use to get rid of these! Open pores?

I have open pores, and i need a better face wash or product! Now that i'm pregnant it seems to be getting worse.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!Black heads, what is the best product to use to get rid of these! Open pores?
tea tree oil helps. it smells really strong, but its a topical antispetic and really clears out the pores. i would suggest getting a small bottle of it, steaming your face for a few minutes (bowl+boiling water+towl over your head+face over the bowl), then washing your face with a good cleanser (i perfer cream, but use what you like), then wipe down the area with the tea tree oil on a cotton ball. its gonna smell soooooo strong, but it will help. usually i can only stand the smell for a minute or so, then i have to wipe it off but that still helps me outBlack heads, what is the best product to use to get rid of these! Open pores?
Clean and Clear makes some excellent facial products especially the cleanser with micro scrubbers. Don't fall for those pore strips that supposedly remove blackheads, they don't and they are expensive
first put some facial cream on your nose then massage for 10 minutes round %26amp; go round and then take steam only on your nose area for 5-7 minutes. gently wipe your nose with wash cloth.
Hot water on a cloth and stem the little basta*ds and a GOOD soap and that does not mean it smells good
If you are able to get RetinA from a doctor I recommend that. I use to have crazy big pores and blackheads...all gone now!

What is the best product that removes black heads?

Does anyone know what the best product out there for removing black heads is? I use proactive, but it doesn't seem to help with them at all. I have also tried the strips that you peel off, but they don't work either. Please help. Thanks! :)What is the best product that removes black heads?
Try Neutrogena advanced solutions. It is in the orange box, has face wash, a day cream and a night cream. I had black heads every where and in about three days they were almost gone. You still have to pop the deep ones no matter what product you use. I usually get as many as I can Friday night before I go to bed so I have all night and Saturday to look better. I get it at walmart but IDK where else it is available.

What is the best cream to remove black heads and pores?

I have black heads and pores on my face which looks very bad and ugly . so i want really want to totally remove them. What is the best cream to remove black heads and pores?
You want to remove your pores? Yikes. What is the best cream to remove black heads and pores?
    wtf!! Report Abuse

The pores, you can't remove, but you can shrink them. The best cream to use to help both is called Retin A. It is by prescription and you can go see a dermatologist for this. The Retin A will help both and I feel the best for blackheads. Once you start using it, be patient. It may cause a flare up and some dry skin, but in a few weeks, your skin will look amazing. (It also helps wrinkles, too). Most insurances cover this med too, if it is being used to treat acne/blackheads, but not if it is just used for large pores and wrinkles. For just the pores, until you can get to a doc, use some astringent or toner. All of these are found in the face cleaning supplies at most any store. They are liquids that you just wipe on the skin, they will help some.
A dermatologist can do it if u want it done immediately. Clearisil also works fairly well. The very best product I have tried is Proactiv. Now you have to follow the directions by using it twice a day. There are like 4 products that come but they word fabulously!! ANd prevent future breakouts if you use it daily as directed.
Prevention is best. I use cetephil (but the generic) to *wash* my face. I use it at least 2X daily and more when the humidity is higher because my skin gets oily. Within a week, I noticed a difference (less pimples).

It doesn't work for everyone, though.

You might also want to read a book: Unblemished by Katie Rodan, MD and Kathy Fields, MD from the creators of proactiv solution. It gives you the information you need to know how to fight acne.

i have blackheads in my ears. its disgusting. i dont even get them anywhere else on my body except a few on my nose so i dont know how i get them in my ears. how can i get rid of them? trying to extract a blackhead thats in your ear is...awkward. so what should i do to get rid of them and how do i prevent from getting them? How do i get rid of the black heads in my ears?
I got them for a while in my ears, but they stopped when I did these things: Only your dermatologist should remove them. Don't do it yourself -- they're deeper than you think and you'll probably damage your skin.

Don't use soap on your ears -- use a face wash (maybe an anti-acne face wash). Use it in the shower AFTER you rinse out your conditioner. The conditioner could be part of the problem, but you can't stop conditioning your hair : )

Use a benzoyl peroxide cream like Neutrogena On-The-Spot cream on them at night (and just a thin layer all over the area to prevent them from coming back). You can buy the Neutrogena On-The-Spot at Target or Wal-Mart or anyplace like that.

ALSO - try to stop touching the area that has the blackheads unless you're putting the cream on it or you are washing it in the shower. Other touching just makes it oilier.

    Good luck!

What is a good remedy or method for getting rid of black heads at home?

can you plz explain with details and every step what to use where to buy? ya know all those things in details plz. 10 points ;)What is a good remedy or method for getting rid of black heads at home?
You don't have to go to a store and spend money on products that don't work... you already have it in your refrigerator.

My mom who passed away at 67 used egg whites on her face once a week all her life, and up until the day she died she had the most beautiful complexion. She literally looked years younger. Never had a blackhead or a wrinkle.

All you need to do is separate the whites from the yolk and store it in a small container in the fridge. Use it as a mask daily for awhile until you see the blackheads disappear, then once a week after that. One egg white goes a long way.

Once you start to see how amazing your skin feels and looks after using this method for awhile you will find yourself doing it religiously. I do. I'm not going to tell you my age but I will tell you people think I'm 15 years younger than I really am.

Good luck! What is a good remedy or method for getting rid of black heads at home?
buy pore strips, they sell them in superdrug, wilkinsons and boots, I generally pick the cheapest ones. Also try peel off face mask - nice cheap sachets in Wilkinsons.
witch hazel, buy it at any store.
Black heads? I'd move in a bunch of Swedish midgets.
Break an egg. On the inside of the shell is a membrane, take that out and put it on the blackheads and let it dry. It should pull out the blackheads.
    Steam

What is the best foundation to cover up large pores + black heads?

Anrgh, I really wanna start wearing makeup...But, I need foundation/tinted stuff/powder that's good at covering up blackheads and large pores. Any suggestions? What is the best foundation to cover up large pores + black heads?
Mac is the bestWhat is the best foundation to cover up large pores + black heads?
use face masks often to keep your pores clean and use bare minerals, if that is too expensive nuetrogena has the same stuff and use the shimmer stuff, just not to extreme
clinique and mac have good coverage.

I heard that applying the foundation with a brush covers pores.
    PRESCRIPTIVES
Try using Revlon Colorstay it gives you 100% coverage, now comes with Softplex a technology that makes you feel like you aren't even wearing foundation but yet covers great. It is also oil-free, spf 6, and will not cause breakouts. The whole day my face feels fresh and the foundation lasts the whole day.
    Revlon Colorstay
Makeup technology today is fairly balanced among the top names. Whether you choose Cover Girl or Almay or Avon or Neutragena. They will all give you the coverage you desire. Buy a few samples of each and see what works best for you. But they all have basically the same ingredients and technology today. have fun and good luck
Try I.D. bare minerals. I dont use it myself, but i know alot of people that do and it covers well.
Mac is a really good brand...
    LOREAL
Anything with good coverage will cover the color of blackheads. Pores are trickier because they are indentions in the skin, and foundation settles in. A primer will help fill them in and smooth the surface of the skin before foundation, but experiment as some of these may just clog pores more. I have large pores also and use L'Oreal True Match, it does well throughout most of the day.

How do i get rid of all these pimples and black heads on my face?

I want a way to get rid of the black heads and pimples on my face, but using a home remedy, not going out and buying something in a store. How do i get rid of all these pimples and black heads on my face?
Exfoliate with sugar, water and soap.

    Then use any regular soap.

Pat dry- and apply toothpaste with fluoride in it to the pimples.

the fluoride will dry them out.

Make sure you moisturize a little too-- over drying will cause massive oiliness to occur as compensation. How do i get rid of all these pimples and black heads on my face?
Wash your face with a drying soap (not one with a cream in it) and use an astringent to dry them up and that kills any germs that may be on your face.
i know this may sound weird but for the pimples scratch the top off and put a dab of toothpaste on it before you go to bed and it will clear it up
My cousin used to put a towel over her head and lean a little bit over a pot of boiling water. You might get a terrible breakout because it is cleaning out your pores. After that, clean your face very well morning and night, maybe with antibacterial soap or something. You may need to repeat the water process, things should start to clear up. Hope that helped!
Blackheads are very common in young people but many of them do not know what they are. This is not a serious problem, for it leaves no permanent effect. However, taking regular care of the skin can prevent them.

Blackheads are caused by excess of sebaceous glands (the oil producing glands of the skin). The excess secretion of oil expands and thickens the pores of the skin. The oil collects in the pores and develops into a cyst or swelling. The pores are then blocked with hardened sebum or oil. Since the pores are open, the tip of the blocked grease is exposed to the air and oxidizes, turning black. Hence, blackheads are formed.

Blackheads can appear any part of the body such as on the back, chest and other areas that are rich in sebaceous glands. Never pick at them. Oily and combination skins are most susceptible to these. Oily skins attract dirt and grime from the environment and these collect in the pores with hardened oil. Blackheads cause the pores to be further enlarged and people with oily skins have a rough and coarse skin.

Blackheads do not only look unsightly, but they are the cause of acne. When a pore is fully blocked, the oil gland can get infected resulting into a pimple. Therefore, the control of blackheads is one way of preventing acne.

The best remedy for pimples which I personally recommend is a paste of turmeric and sandalwood. Apply on the affected part at night and wash it off in the morning.

Aloe vera straight from the leaf - apply the mucilaginous gel directly on the face in the morning and wash it off with plain water without soap, after about 2 hours.

AVOID HARSH COSMETICS AND SOAPS. THEY TEND TO DAMAGE THE SKIN MORE.
    sand blast-massage-baby lotion.
I say pay for it if it works. I have heard that putting tooth paste on a pimple before bed will help take the redness out of it, but doesn't make them go away, nor will it help with black heads. I would be really careful of home remedies. I have heard that Proactiv works, but I tried it for myself and wound up with a huge cystic acne(I thought I got bit by a spider), but that is just my case. You will have to try to find whta works for you and that will require spending some money at first, but when you find what works then it will all be worth it. Oh I did go to a dermatologist one time and she said that for just washing my face to use Dove soap in the mornings and night and definitely use moisturizer with sunscreen.
I'm looking right at your picture and I don't see any pemples or black heads. Liar.
if i were in your situation, wich i am.. iwould order proactive

What is the difference between black heads and white heads?

i just woke up in the morning and i got a tinny dots white in my face. every days they increasing, they really itchy and disgusting? how could i cure or avoid them? What is the difference between black heads and white heads?
Black heads are generally from dirt so they look dark or black. White heads or pimples are white/yellowish pus. If the ones on your face are itchy though thats a sign of some sort of allergic reaction or infection. I'd suggest taking a visit to walk in clinic or your dr just to make sure its nothing serious. What is the difference between black heads and white heads?
Black heads are black and white heads are white. But if you woke up with stuff like that and they keep getting worse, maybe you should let a doctor check it out. You might be allergic to something or have an infection. or maybe you're going through really abnormal puberty. (lol on the last one.)
You could have an infection or might be in the early stages of acne (this is serious) go to your dermatologist to get this checked out now!!
Black heads is nappy and fuzzy

get yourself a good facial steamer and use it twice a week after cleansing and exfoliating your skin. The steamer will open up your pores. Straight after the steamer you should use a comedone extractor to gently scrape the blackheads away. Tone right after using the comedone extractor to close your pores back up. Trust me it works.

    hope this helps!

Do not get biore pore strips... They suck and only get whats on the surface. Not the blackhead...

I just pop mine, don't use your nails though... It could make a bump on your face...

After i get it out i put alcohol on the hole thing to clean it out.

Its tough to get out if youve had it for a long time, or if its just forming...

A lot of people don't recommend popping them but it works... be careful though...
This should help for blackheads. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes and scrub well before washing off with cold water. Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

What's better, getting a facial or popping pimples and black heads yourself?

I've been popping pimples, black heads, and white heads myself for the past 20 years. I am careful about not getting obsessed when something won't pop so I usually don't damage my skin. How is getting a facial better than popping pimples yourself? What's better, getting a facial or popping pimples and black heads yourself?
Good question. Well they usually use a steamer to open the pores and use special facial scrubs etc but I cant see any MAJOR difference. What's better, getting a facial or popping pimples and black heads yourself?
Pimples sometimes seem to have a life if there own and swell on the planet known as a person's face. Newtons law of Inertia goes as follows; ';Every object remains in a state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an outside force.'; (An outside force is a net force.)

The pimple(s) have to be moved from their stationary spot. Move it around with your finger, it disturbs the pimple. Steam you face, it opens the pores, use a facial, it causes things to change underneath the skin.

Adrien Arpel makes two products that are very helpful, and can be purchased on line.

The first is Adrien Arpel Honey %26amp; Almond Scrub.

Directions say put if on your face for 5-10 minutes.

I leave it on over night. When we sleep our body heat will activate the mask. Put a towel on your pillow so it won't leave a mess.

Wash it off in the morning with a warm wash cloth.

The second part is Adrien Arpel Volcanic Mud Mask. That you only leave on until it drys and take it off with a cold wash cloth.

Do these two things once a week for a while. You will see an improvement, Then you can do this treatment about one a month.
It's not better, just different. i would suggest you get a facial a few times a year, like 2 - 3 times, and do the rest yourself inbetween, but i am sure you will notice there will be less pimples %26amp; black heads to deal with.
    Facial. Or wait it out.

If you pop and pick at blemishes, bacteria spreads and can cause new ones or leave scars. Not fun.
    they're professionals and you're not - that's the difference...

How do I get rid of black heads?

Buy nose strips! i definitely recommend them. They're cheap and if you happen to be against animal testing then there are brands that also do them cheap that aren't tested on animals.

The most important tip for these nose strips is to make sure your nose is wet before applying the strip! Otherwise it will not stick properly and you may end up finding they don't work. What i do is i actually put a few drops of water onto the side of the strip that sticks to your nose before you put it on your nose - it doesn't tell you to do this on the instructions but it really helps because i find that when i wet my nose it is not enough moisture for the strip. Also, while you are in the process of washing your face before even opening the strip yet, put some hot water onto a flannel and hold against your nose to open up the pores and allow the blackheads to come out easier.

To prevent blackheads you should always cleanse your face to wash out the dirt from your pores, then always use a toner afterwards to close the pores and make it harder for dirt to enter! Because everytime you wash you face it opens up pores and even though this is good for when you are washing your face, afterwards they need to be closed because they are exposed to the dust and dirt in the air around you.
Hi, This is one method that I use to do an at home facial.

Take a small kettle of water, put it on a front burner of your stove and heat the water to a good simmer, (not boiling!)

Pull your hair back, away from your face. Take a large bath towel and create a tent of sorts by laying the towel over your back and holding it over your head (well away from the burner!) with your hands, and lean over the kettle of simmering water. The goal is to have the steam from the water, hit your face and stay trapped in the ';tent'; you have with the towel. You are supported by your arms on either side of the burner.

I try for 10 minutes of this. I turn the water temp up and down as needed to keep the heat going. Obviously without burning my face! LOL!

This steam action ';opens'; all the pores on your face.... After 10 minutes (or less, because sometimes I am impatient) I then apply a clay type of mask (or whatever type of mask you chose) to my face, and allow to dry, following the product's directions. Rinse off, and moisturize. Wow! You will be so happy with how the skin on your face feels!

I can't promise you that one time will remove all your blackheads, but you should see a reduction as you do this about once a week.

FYI - I do try to do this when I am home alone!! : %26gt;)

    Good Luck!
    boil a pot of water/

cover your head with a towel.

put your head over the boiled water and take in the steam.

    do this for 6 min.

when your done, use a clean and SOFT toothbrush or something to rub away the blackheads.

since your skin will be sensitive after this, keep it clean and use a mild cream or moisturizer.

do this twice a week, and luv the results..

    good luck!!!
all you need to do is wash your face better. mostly with soap and water, i have this product that is called acne free and it is way better than pro active. it actually works, and this is coming from sombody that actually uses it. and you could also go another way and ask your doctor if you can have birth control. but some birthcontrol doesnt work for this problem so i would just stick with the washing your face better.

    hope this helps.

    good luck!
use stridex with aloe (the green one!) its very cheap and very affective. it fights blackheads/zits/whiteheads and prevents them! just buy it at your local grocery store. wash your face with a damp washcloth first. then glide the soft-touch pad all over your face. do this in the morning and at night! it should really help! ;D hehe
you will need towel and hot water..

you put the towel in the hot water (as hot as you can take)

put it over your face then after like at least a few minutes get a facial scrub and rub it lightly over where the blackhead is (:

    then wash your face

    GOOD LUCK(:%26lt;3
I use a really fine pore scrub. St. Ive's isn't fine enough to get the little particles of dirt. I went to Sally Beauty Supply and they have a really great mint face scrub. It's something 'Helene's'. It works great and I don't have anymore blackheads!!!
There are some great and cheap face scrubs from supermarkets. I personally use Clean and Clear and it sure gets rid of black heads. You just gotta experiment with all different products and see which one helps you best. And one other tip, never ever sqeeve them so they pop!

    Hope that helps :)
I have been using oatmeal soap made out of aloe and glycerin soap. It takes about 1 week to see the differents. I swear by it and also make it for my store. I dont think I can give my web site on this form but if you want to email me I will send you a free sample.
Pop them/ sqeeze them... Put two fingers around it and squeeze, then this little fuzzies come out. It may make ur nose a little red for about 5 or 10 min but its easy, fast, and cheap!!

    ~good luck~ hope i helped

How do you get rid of stubborn black heads?

I've tried a million and three products for my face including rip away strips which only catch like 6 or seven.... ive tried face creams and cleansers and hot compresses every night and morning and i still cannot get them to go away.

What causes blackheads, can i prevent them? Any other suggestions or things I could try?How do you get rid of stubborn black heads?
I have the same problem actually and the only thing that helped at all was getting an antibiotic from the dermatologist. I had to stop taking it because of my pregnancies and it eventually came back, but I would recommend starting off by going to a derm. OTC things don't seem to help. They also have cosmetics that you can buy that have saylic acid in them to help clear up acne. How do you get rid of stubborn black heads?
aw :/ well there actually is a type of instrument that you use..i dont exactly know what its called but im sure you can find it in the beauty department...like at wallmart or something..one time i had a black head and i just got a tooth pic and dug it out...idk if this is good or not prolly not.

    Causes of Blackheads

Blackheads is caused when excess skin oil, sebum and congesting toxins are expelled through your skin from the blood and lymph fluid that supplies your skin with nutrients. These congesting toxins combined with skin oil and sebum clogs your pores causing blackheads, whiteheads, and full blown acne. Dirt also plays a big role in developing skin blackheads. The dirt stored on the face or other parts of body make the bacteria to develop. The dirt with oily skin makes things even worse. Although food id thought not to be the cause of blackhead but doctor believe that there may be some role of food in it too.

    Home Remedy for Blackheads

    1. In 3-4 cup boiled water, add 2 tsp of soda bicarbonate. Steam a towel with this. Thereafter, place the towel gently on your face. Do it for about 5-6 times. Make a paste by mixing 1 tsp curd and 1 tsp rice flour. Apply the paste on the affected area. After some time, wash your face with cold water.

    2. Take about 1 tsp of juice extracted from fresh coriander leaves and add 陆 tsp of turmeric powder in it. Apply this mixture while going to bed. Wash your face the next morning with cold water.

    3. Take a pinch of soft portion of glycerin soap and mix with a pinch of table salt. Apply this mixture on the blackheads. Do it for about a week and see the magical results.

    4. Salicylic acid, glycolic acid, benzyl peroxide, etc. can be counter-productive to softening and dissolving blackheads and whiteheads as they can dehydrate dry, normal and combination skin

    5. Make a paste by mixing 1 tsp limejuice and 1 tsp of finely powdered cinnamon. Apply it on the affected area before going to bed. Wash it off in the morning.

Check out the NouriFusion line through Herbalife, it has worked wonders on my skin and my acne problem. My website can be found on my profile. Any help needed or any more questions let me know.
Well, try a good facial at a spa. Otherwise, try using self heating masks that open your pores. Then, clean your face with a good astringent and moisturize with a non-oil based product. Also, if you use cheap makeup from the drugstore (Covergirl, revlon) I suggest you switch to one that is dermatologist recommended, like glominerals. It is actually healthy for your face and causes acne/blackheads to heal.
try those biore' pore strip they work pretty good if you follow the directions
There are many things that you can do to prevent blackheads from appearing on your face. Most involve cleansing and some require the use of medications.

    * Avoid using creamy, greasy, and thick (emollient) products. This alone will greatly lessen your chances of sprouting blackheads.

    * Use a gentle and water-soluble cleanser.

    * DO NOT use bar soap!!! The ingredients that hold soap in a bar form can clog the pores in your skin. They can also cause skin cells to flake off prematurely and clog the pores. If you have dry skin you will need to use a cleanser that has a bit of moisturizer in it, but be careful! The excess moisturizers can cause an increase in oil on your skin.

    * Exfoliate to eliminate dead skin cells. If there are no skin cells to clog the pores, the natural oil is able to flow through freely. Exfoliation also removes the built up dead cells from inside the pores that cause them to become misshapen and more-easily clogged. Using an exfoliant that contains 1% or 2% beta hydroxy acids (BHA or Salicylic Acid) will penetrate the lining of the pore. If you are unable to use BHAs, you could use products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), however these acids are only good for surface exfoliation because they do not penetrate the pore lining.

    * Absorb excess oil. If you have oily skin, try using a clay mask that does not contain mint, peppermint or other irritating ingredients. This will absorb the oil that may clog the poor. If you have dry skin, this is not necessary because pimples on dry skin are caused by oil inside the pore, not on the surface of the skin. Also, oil-absorbing papers may help to reduce the oil in your pores.

    * Wash your faceVisit your dermatologist. Retinoids, which are a form of Vitamin A, can help regulate the pore shape which will keep oil flowing normally. The most common retinoids are tretinoin and adapalene, found in prescriptions such as Avita, Renova, Retin-A, Tazorac, and Differin.

    * Other medications. Hormone blockers and low-dose birth control pills can lower levels of androgens (the male hormone) and Accutane should be discussed with your physician in severe cases of oily skin and breakouts.

    3. Blackhead Removal

Though the best way to remove blackheads is an area of contention, the most common method for getting rid of blackheads is to gently squeeze them. Removing the “stuff” inside of the blackhead helps the skin because you are relieving the pressure which causes the damage. We know it can be nearly impossible to leave a blemish alone so here are some tips for gentle blackhead removal:

    1. Use a mild scrub or exfoliant to remove any dead cells and expose the blackhead.

    2. Pat your face dry.

    3. Place a slightly warm compress on your face for approximately 10-15 minutes in order to soften the blackhead, making it easier to remove.

    4. Pat your face dry again.

    5. Place a piece of tissue on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, which could tear the skin and cause further damage.

    6. Gently apply even pressure to both sides of the blackhead by pushing down, then up around the blemish. You’re trying to apply the pressure from *underneath* the blackhead.

Only attempt this once or twice. If it does not “pop”, you may bruise the skin, make the blackhead worse, and could cause scarring.

PORE STRIPS: Using pore strips to remove blackheads is not recommended for many reasons:

    * The warnings on the box tell you not to use them on swollen, irritated, sunburned skin; not to use them on excessively dry skin; and not to use them on any area other than the nose. Also, the warnings state that if the strip is too difficult to remove, you should add water and remove carefully.

    * Removing the superficial blackheads, along with some healthy skin, will only help temporarily.

    * Repeated use of pore strips can cause irritation and future breakouts.

    * The adhesive on the strips can tear or injure the skin, especially if you are using an acne medication such as those listed above, or if you naturally have thin skin due to psoriasis, rosacea, or seborrhea.

Vacuum blackhead removers and blackhead extractors are not recommended for the same reasons as the pore strips. Because blacheads are caused by excessive oil production clogging the pores, the most effective way to get rid of blackheads is to control oil on the face by using mild cleansers and by balancing your hormones.
Blackheads are caused by dirt in your pores. To get rid of them, you need a good exfoliant, like St. Ives Apricot Scrub with salicylic acid. This will clean your pores out and it has an acne fighting medicine in it. Wash before bed time each day, and the 'heads should go away!!
hm what works best for me (and i'm blackhead free) is to get in the shower, turn the water to extremely hot, put a rag under it, and put the face rag to your face and kinda like squeeze them out WITH THE RAG OVER YOUR FACE. lol dont do it with your hands cause then that just leaves marks after. also, make sure to wash your face every day and night so no more blackheads can reappear and maybe use a deep cleansing scub. :]

You need to find a deep pore cleaning cleanser. Try neutragena clear pore treatment...it should do the trick. Also, try using a pore clearing mask 3 times a week at night. That will really help! If you can find a pore minimizing moisturizer, and you will be all set. Good luck! How do I get rid of black heads on my nose?
Use the special products like ProActive, Clean%26amp;Clean, etc. And if nothing else use alcohol because this dries them out. As a last resort, just squeeze them. I don't recommend leaving them because they can get infected.
Use tea tree oil, in a few day there be gone.

    Black-heads ???!!!?

how to get rid of black heads, its depressing !!

they are only small, but c'mon girls, help !!! lol xBlack-heads ???!!!?
An understanding of Blackheads may help here. You see each hair follicle is connected to a sebaceous gland. These glands secrete an oily substance known as sebum to lubricate your hair and skin. Sebum normally travels up along the hair shaft and then out through the opening of the hair follicle onto the surface of your skin. When your body produces an excess amount of sebum and dead skin cells, the two can build up in the hair follicle and form together as a soft plug. This plug may cause the follicle wall to bulge and produce a whitehead. Or, the plug may be open to the surface and may darken, causing a blackhead.

I suggest trying AcneDerm Foaming Wash together with AcneDerm Medicated Lotion, a complete anti-bacterial acne treatment that clears the skin by fighting bacteria and unblocking oil ducts. The anti-inflammatory lotion also reduces redness and dries up pimples fast. It's available in Pharmacies. Hope that helps.Black-heads ???!!!?
Do NOT use those black heads remover. The one it's like tape and sticky and you put it over your nose. It makes your black heads bigger so, more dirt can go in. Eventually, your black heads gets bigger. I was told to use those scrubs. You know like a cleanser that has little beads in it so, its scrubby when you wash your face. Apparently, those remove the dirt from your black heads. I personally use proactive.
rubbing alcohol (WINTERGREEN) and a cotton ball or two lmao hope this helps

    Black Heads?

Does anyone have any good ideas of getting blackheads off your nose? I know someone who has had them for a few years and they have never went. Squeezing and steming doesnt seem to get them up. Nose strips have worked for the majority but the ones that are still left dont seem to be moving with the strips. One of them has begin to stick up and turn white, it was cleaned out then it grew back again but now there is nothing inside of it. Does any one else have a way of removing them?

Thank you for any help :)Black Heads?

    Black heads??

its gross i know but i have HUGE black heads in my ears, how do i get them out. i can't squeeze them out with my fingers. for the past week i've been cleaning them several times a day but its not getting any better. HELP PLEASE ITS GROSS LOOKINGBlack heads??

take a hot wash rag or very hot cotton ball and keep it in there. Repeat and try to gently exfoliate then in the shower with the wash cloth. I would also use the peroxide and or add an acne cream - try to push at them first before doing the peroxide - (after the warm cotton balls/shower)

Keep them clean with a simple swipe of the q tip with acne cream before bed.Black heads??
Use a bobby pin (made for hair). Make sure it is clean. center the black head in the loop of the bobby pin, push down and it should pop out. sometimes you may have to push and then drag the pin across the skin to get it all out. it can hurt a little but it does work. be sure to keep cleaining your ears with black head meds to prevent more.
Put hydrogen peroxide in your ears for a few minutes--it will feel a little funny, but it should help.
well one way to get that off is use noxema it srubs anything on your face out.
as odd as this seems... a month ago i had like 2 pimples in my ears. they were cystic so i couldn't pop them unti lthey came to a head which believe me took forever. It was huge and red. But you have a different problem. Blackhead.. hmm you can't pop them, nevertheless it's in your ear! hmmm try a toner. make sure it doesn't get in your ear tube though. there is also this scrub by Biore that is made for backheads. It heats up. Maybe that might help. Hope your ears get better.
AcneFree Terminator 10. On-the-spot treatment. It works.
They make extractors that you can buy at most drug stores. The one I have from Sephora below is my favorite. Make sure before you start you've heated the area around the black heads so you don't damage your skin. You can do this by wetting a towel with very hot water or using a steamer. First you use the pokey side to uproot the blackhead a bit (go from the side, don't poke it in) and then use the other side with the whole and put pressure until it comes out. Make sure to sterilize it when using it next.
this might sound weird, but get a hair pin, and put it like so the blackhead will be in the center of little loop at the end of the hair pin, and start pressing against it, it'll pop out. O r u could go to a drugstore and get a little tool that they have specifically to take out blackheads, etc.

    Good luck!
Dont say black heads.. what are you racist or something. This is the new and improved America, stop trying to use words that are offensive.

Go ahead and use white head though....

    that should be okay .

    Remove Blackheads and Whiteheads

Everybody gets blackheads or whiteheads and it is very annoying. Here are few tried and tested tricks available right in your house which can easily remove blackheads and whiteheads. They usually occur on the T-Zone but sometimes they do appear on the whole face.

    Step 1: Cleansing milk

Apply raw milk or cleansing milk all over your face and neck, massage your face with it for 5miutes.

    Step 2: Steam

Use steam on your face and neck for 10 minutes. Don鈥檛 take steam very often once a month is alright.

Step 3: Rice flour or All purpose Flour

Now that your face is wet gently massage it with rice flour or all purpose flour. Its like a scrub this helps in removing black and white heads. Repeat couple of times for best results just remember to wet your face before each repetition . Don鈥檛 take steam again just flash some water on your face.

    Step 4: Apply Face mask

A face mask should be applied to close the pores. You can apply raw milk it also helps to close the pores. For face mask you can use any fruits available in the house or a custom fruit pack.

    Step 5: Apply Ice

Application of ice is very important as it is the final touch which will reduce the amount of blackheads which will appear. Ice basically closes the pores on your face. Apply ice to your face on a regular basis it will also minimize breakouts of acne and pimples.

These steps can be done on a regular basis just skip the 2 step do it just once a month. It will definitely give you clean and clear skin. These steps also helps in getting rid of accumulated dirt on the face due to pollution.Black heads?
what ever you do, DONT use clearasil, it justs spreads the bacteria across your face and causes new ones to grow. Avoid greasy make-up and greasy creams because this causes the black heads to grow. Try to keep your face as clean as possible. Dont use bar soap because it only clogs up your pores. Exfoliate regularly to keep away them dead cells. If you do put make-up on try to keep of it a bit or put it on lightly and befor you go to bed make sure its all off.

    Hope this is some use!

    Black heads?

I have a bunch of black heads on my nose and i cant get rid of them. I wash my face every day using st.ives soaps. I try squezing them but they just wont go away...Black heads?
I had the same problem for years, I found that the newer neutrogena line, visibly clear their cleansing ex foliate works really well, I also use the little microdermabrasion kit, my black heads are like gone, but also I use the garnier pure A night and day cream for acne prone skin.

And its good to steam your face every week at least once, or sweat and exercise.

Plus after you wash your face it you put a clean, warm facecloth with warm water on your nose for about 10 mins its will clear them upBlack heads?
I use proactiv. I recommend you try it, its worth the money.

Oh, and I wouldn't sqeeze them if I were you, it just creates more skin problems. And just avoid touching your nose at all costs. Over-irritation (if thats a word) can cause your nose to get oily and can create acne and other skin problems.
Try using Biore Pore Strips, those work really well, and you can actually see the blackheads on the strip when you peel it off, so you know it works. I also recommend getting a facial, a good one includes extraction of all clogged pores, and your skin looks radiant the next day.
    clean%26amp;clear...........
either get some really good blackhead strip or try steaming you face over boiling water to open you pores
this is what i do and it works like a charm...

...it sounds weird, but after i go swimming, they get ';loosened up'; and can usually squeeze them out easier that way...

...if you dfint have a pool available, try putting a hot, damp towel over your face. it wont work as well, but it will make it a little easier...
try using those blackhead strips. They work for me.
there are things like blackhead strips by Biore that you can get...those usually work pretty well.

i wouldnt recommend popping them, that can make them worse and your skin red....

try a blackhead scrub by Clean and Clear or something :]

    that should help.
get pro activ it works good for me! and get those blackhead strips
wash them with salicylic acid then use those pore strips. they are like stickers that pull out the black heads. you can find them in almost every grocery store

  • Black heads!!!!?

I have a grip of black heads all over my nose and they just wont wanna come out! Ive tried squeezing them out with my finger nails but nothing! Ive heard that those steam mask things work pretty good?

Any other ideas on how to get rid of them?

    Thanks.Black heads!!!!?
there are beauty products that especially formulated for blackheads, try some of them until you find whats best for your face.

another thing is, wash your face in lukewarm water and use facial scrub. do it everyday and your blackheads will be gone.Black heads!!!!?
Oh gosh! Stop trying to extract them out yourself! Go to the spa and get the aesthetician to extract them out for you. Or get to your dermatologist if you want. But they do the same thing except the latter is more exy.

They first use steam to open up your pores for about 10 minutes and use a special tool (you can get it at Wal-mart, not sure what it is called, comedones extractor?) to gently squeeze them out.

But most importantly, DO NOT use your nails to squeeze them out!!! It's WRONG.

You can get your doctor to prescribe Differin gel for you. But personally I use sulfur preparations. It breaks down the blackheads. But most of the time, you gotta go to the experts. If you don't mind trying the 'natural way', use raw egg white and spread it over your skin after washing up. Leave for about 10 minutes. Then use the extractor to squeeze the blackheads out. It's supposed to work.

But at the end of the day, it's better to know how blackheads are formed and prevent any new ones from popping out. Good luck!
Use a really warm face cloth and let that sit on your face for 1 minute, then use a face scrub and wash your face with that, wipe your face down with a warm face cloth, wash with facial cleanser. Repeat once a day until black heads are gone....
Hear is a great way in getting rid of black heads! (this works!)

    1. Have a pot of water boiling in your stove. Make sure it reaches to a steam.

    2. Put your face over it allowing the steam and heat to reach your face. The heat will open up your pores.

    3. Wash your face with lukewarm water with scentless soap. The dirt will leave your pores!
My nose also has a lot of blackheads. Blackhead masks, those that stiffen up and then you can peel off, work well for me. I guess many things work but this one's fun [haha]. But you have to put cold water on your nose right after so that your pores will shrink again. If you feel that your blackheads are getting bigger [a result of pores that are growing larger], I suppose it would be hard for you to find a good way of removing blackheads.

    Black heads??!!!!?

I have alot of black heads on my nose and my cheeks. I don't know how to get rid of them . I clean my face with dove soap each morning and night. I need a solution to get rid of them. Oh, and black head scrubs don't work either they just dry my skin out badly.

Please help if you can. ThanksBlack heads??!!!!?
Take your fingernail and push down right next to the black head while you move your fingernail towards it. It'll squeeze out the gunk. Use Noxzema facial cleanser to wash your face twice a day or so.Black heads??!!!!?
I have the same problem and if you are careful enough you can remove them yourself by gently squeezing them out. The over the counter remedies do not work. My dermatologist told the correct way to remove them so it is safe. Just don't ever dig your fingernails deep into your skin since that can cause scarring.
the black is dirt so u need to squeeze them out and then use a facial scrub like st ives. its really good. or go to a beautician to have a facial and they can tell u what to do
Go to a beautician or training college and have a facial with extractions in it, then you should be able to keep on top of it.
hmmm.... its will hurt you to pop them out... consult a dermatologist let them pop them out PS it will still hurt
Have you tried Proactive solution yet. It works really good. Did you try popping them and then cleaning them out with something?
    one word proactive

How do you get rid of black heads?
Blackheads (or comedones) are pores that have larger openings, which get clogged with dirt and dead skin. The oxidation of melanin results in their black color. Read on to learn about how to remove blackheads.

    Step1

Purchase facial cleanser and acne cream that contain salicylic acid, which will help dry out the oil in the pores. Some facial cleansers have exfoliating beads that help too.

    Step2

Let warm water run in the bathroom sink and hover your face over the steam. This will help open your pores.

    Step3

Try to extract some of the black material with tweezers. Or gently apply pressure to the sides of the pore with clean fingers.

    Step4

Wash your face with the facial cleanser then apply an acne cream to problem areas.

they sell blemish extractors that work really well when you get the hang of it... blackheads around the lips means there is artificial flavors/colors in your gloss or chapstick... try to find something more natural and you should stop getting them. try burts bees or bare escentuals!

How do I get rid of black heads, zits, pimples, the whole 9 yards?

    Any home remedies?

    Any ways to prevent?

    What foods cause them?

I don't have a lot but there's some on my face that I can't stand.

How do I get rid of black heads, zits, pimples, the whole 9 yards?
The main causes of acne is toxins build up in the body and clogged pores caused by excessive oil and deadskin cells. THese provide a fertile ground for acne to spread and thrive.

To effectively fight acne and prevent acne from coming back, you have to attack acne from inside the body as well as outside on the skin. So, look for an acne product that fights acne internally as well as externally. They should also contains natural ingredients since they're more safer to use and has less side effects.

There are also things you can do at home to get rid of acne. Take actions to detoxify your body and take care of your skin and soon, you will permanently end your acne and have clear, radiant, beautiful skin!

For the next couple of weeks, stick to the regimen below:

-Drink a glass of warm water with lemon and honey in the morning and evening

-Drink lots of water throughout the day to flush out the toxins

-Drink at least 3 cups of green tea a day - green tea contains antibacterial properties to kill the bacteria

-Try to do some exercise so you can sweat out all the toxins. Also, try to do meditation

-Eat as many apples as you can. You should buy organic apples at Wholefood. Dont buy apples at local supermarket. Supermarket apples contain pesticides that can toxify your body

    -Eat oatmeal for breakfast

-Eat 2 cups of yogurt a day - yogurt boost ur immune system and contain microbiotic organisms that help your digestive system and control the acid/yeast

-Eat lots of green veggies (organic if possible)

The most important part of the equation in beating acne is killing the bacteria that develop into pimples.

Killing the bacteria from the inside out and the outside in, with the active ingredients that actually do the work...not all the garbage that is thrown in.

www.acnetreatmentscamsrevealed.com has done the research on what those active ingredients really are. There are a tremendous amount of patients that I see that see results as quick as 3 days from the program that they have developed.

Please take the time to view the site, www.acnetreatmentscamsrevealed.com

There are also articles on acne and articles are being added daily.

    Please keep me posted,

I would definitely suggest you try SWISS glutathione bar. Its actually a soap intended for skin lightening but it really works well against pimples and the marks they leave behind! it dries them out easily in just 2-3days. a lot of people buy it for that purpose even if they dont have to lighten their skin. check out

How to take care of skin and prevent break outs and get rid of black heads?

what kids of stuff can i do like vitamins to take and food to eat/ avoid. How to take care of skin and prevent break outs and get rid of black heads?
Some things that you have to consider is where you live and what types of weather you are in. For example, I live in Colorado where it is super dry even when it is snowing, so when I wash my face more than once my face becomes just covered in dry skin. I wash my face once in the morning and once at night, and that does the trick.

But some things you can do are:

#1. Decide upon the wash you will use and keep it going. (No switching back and forth between products and/or skipping some days)

#2. When you wash your face, don't scrub it off! I like to basically give my face a nice soothing massage.

#3. Apply some type of toner and lotion after the wash. Occasionally (about once a week), try a mask.

#4. Try not to touch your face! Make it a rule and every time you find yourself touching your face, remove your hands and eventually that will just come second nature.

#5. One of the most cliche ones, but big ones, is to try to at least eliminate greasy foods and/or add good foods such as berries and fruit. This will help A LOT!

#6. When it comes to make up, use the good brands that are non comedogenic and such so they do not clog your pours.

#7. Last, maintain stress levels if possible. Go for that nightly walk, read a book, take a moment out for yourself. Sometimes acne can be triggered by stress.

I hope I helped:DHow to take care of skin and prevent break outs and get rid of black heads?
You gotta wash your face twice a day. It's caused by dead skin cells mixing with oils and clogging pores, trapping bacteria and stuff. Don't wear too much make up, keep your hair off your face, wear comfortably fitting clothing, too. The friction from tight, uncomfortable clothing will irritate the area, causing it to inflame. They say there is no connection with eating habits and acne, but still stay away from greasy foods and stuff. I also heard that drinking too much milk can cause it too, cus it has a special hormone in it.
take daily vitamin C tablets, and NEVER pop your zits, change your pillow case periodically, dont scrub your skin, eat foods with little sodium because that makes your face oily, and dab your skin when it get super oily because black heads are oil that has been built up on your skin and turned...black. Lol. Those are hard to get rid of. Get an blackhead scrub and scrub your nose ONLY! And nose strips, you leave them on for 5 min and strip them off. Works great! And wash your face twice a day

Breakouts are alot of times caused by stress and hormones!
Avoid acidic foods like Porridge - that can cause break outs.

Drink water, cut down on alcohol...don't eat greasy fatty foods.

You probably don't need vitamins...but you should cleanse and moisturise using creams formulated for congested skin like Pai's Geranium %26amp; Thistle moisturiser:

    http://www.paiskincare.com/product_details_3.htm
It's natural for everyone to get break outs and black heads.

But you can try to buy a moisturizing cream and face cleanser for your everyday use. Use it at least two times a day (Morning %26amp; Night). It's best to exfoliate your skin at least once a week.
don't eat outdoor foods like McDonald's or those fast food restaurants NO GREASY FOOD!wash your face twice a day(morning when you wake up and night when you sleep)either use regular soap or acnewash like neutrogena or proactive eat foods like homemade food avoid soda and those drinks eat at least 1 veggie/1 fruit everydaydont touch your face unless your washing it you can put on makeup if you like this is how i turned clear headed!
buy an anti bacterial body wash like dial and wash your face in the shower. Rinse your face and then wash it again until it is squeaky clean. Drink plenty of water and eat blueberries. Try to avoid rubbing or touching your face
Buy the acne lotion on acne.org, it worked for me in one week. My skin has stayed clear ever since. It's a bit pricey, about $20 US, but who wouldn't want clear skin for 20 bucks?
    eat healthy(fruit)

sweat....... i no it sound gross but the sweat coming out willclean ur skin inside out

    proactive works amazing!!!
i agree with all answers on here but i just want to say DON'T use proactive!! it's horrible stuff!!! i've tried it (twice) and it made my skin HORRIBLE and MUCH WORSE!!! seriously don't do it!

    good luck!
Zinc works to help fight it, i know cause i take it
dont eat greasy foods eat healthy it will help.

the blackhead remover strips. they're kinda pricy. like 8 dollars for 6 of em. but they work. if not just buy this steel tool thing. it's 10 dollars but it lasts you a lifetime. i have it and i remove my blackheads with it. get a magnifying mirror and you'll get rid of them urself.

ps not only sally carries them. i seen it at walgreens and maybe even walmart has em.
  • dry hair
  • Best way to get rid of black heads without going to the store to buy crap?

HELP!Best way to get rid of black heads without going to the store to buy crap?
DO NOT put Elmers glue on your face!!!!!!!

First wash your face w/a gentle soap. then put water in a pot, bring it to a boil and then turn the heat off. Get a large towel, use it as a tent and steam your face for no longer than 20 min. While your pores are open, slather on a paste of cooked oatmeal and water, or egg whites, and let it dry. Rinse it off w/cool water then cold water to close your pores and put on a moisturizer. Steam your face weekly or bi-weekly.Best way to get rid of black heads without going to the store to buy crap?
Well, it is best to get a cleanser from the store that is special for black heads and use it once or twice a day.

Keep your hair back from your face, and if you sweat, always wash your face to make sure the oil does not stay there. Use a head band and keep your hair in a pony tail when you exercise. Wash your face with a wash cloth everyday.
Dont listn to the first guy who responded, hes just trying to mess up ur face. Ok listen ik u dont wanna buy crap but it wont hurt if i suggest one product. uh clean and clears blackhead removel, trust me THAT works wonders on ur skin and in about a week, it gets rid of ur black heads. Maybe its just me.
Put honey on them for half an hour, and then wash it off. This works well overnight.

Place Scotch tape over the blackheads, and pull it off gently. This works ok, but the other ways work better.

The best way is to pour liquid Elmer's glue onto the blackheads and let dry. Then peel it off. This is the best method, but takes a while since you have to let the glue dry.

    Hope this helps!
I use two methods... I usually use a toothbrush with a face scrub and scrub my nose where my blackheads are the worst. And I also use scotch tape and rip off my blackheads... but remember to put moisturizer after b/c you don't want blackheads and dry skin. I hope this helps :)
when you wash your face gently scrub with a wash cloth. if you do it daily it will go away. i sometimes SOFTLY scrub my face with sugar it makes my skin soft and clear. it works for me. hope this helps
get some rubbing alcohol and put a bit on a cotton ball. dab your nose after you wash your face and apply a good lotion all over. try this for a week or two and it should help.

    good luck : )
rinse you're face with hot water. it opens up pores so that black dirt can escape out of your skin.
AHA is the best way to get rid without pain. Over a period of time you'll find your pores shrink.
Baking Soda..Mix it with a bit of Cetaphil Lotion..works wonders
wash your face every morning when you wake up and night before going to sleep... it helped me :)
Alcohol or witch hazel. And you should have that in your house.
    scrape them with your fingernail.
i've heard that rubbing a tomato will help unclog the blackheads
pop them make the white stuff come outt.. then wash your facee.
